𝗔 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹

𝗗𝗖𝗛𝗖 (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) received on Wednesday 19-7-2023 a delegation from the Japanese shipping line (Ocean Network Express) 𝗢𝗡𝗘, which is one of the largest container shipping operators in the world, and the delegation included Mr. Adam Bain - Manager - Terminal & Port Services Procurement (ONE London Office), Mr. Matias Erdody - Terminal Procurement Assistant Manager (ONE London Office), Mr. Mohamed Sultan - Head of Operations (ONE Egypt - Damietta), and Mr. Elsayed Barakat - Liner Operation Manager (ONE Egypt - Damietta). They were received by 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗸 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹 - Executive Managing Director of Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company, and it is worth noting that the shipping line ONE is one of the most important customers of Damietta Container Terminal. The visit included a tour of the terminal, where it won the admiration of the visitors and confirmed their confidence in Damietta Container Terminal and the ability of the terminal to continue to receive and operate ships of the shipping line efficiently and the extent of their happiness with the honorable image that appeared in the terminal and their admiration for the quality of the level of service provided, the meeting was attended by Mr. Gamal Shafiq - Head of the Movement Sector and Dr. Ahmed Kamel - General Manager of Strategic Planning and Marketing at the company. For his part, Admiral / Executive Managing Director of Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company welcomed the guests and expressed his full support for all shipping lines, including the shipping line ONE, and also all their inquiries were answered, and he stated that the terminal continues to implement its giant investments to ensure the provision of distinguished services to its customers from global shipping lines as well as Egyptian exporters and importers, and that the company has succeeded in achieving a leap in performance rates during the last period and achieving unprecedented records of Since its inception, nearly 1,500,000 TEUs were handled during the last fiscal year. This comes in implementation of the directives of 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴. 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗹-𝗪𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗿 - 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 and the continuous support of the 𝗛𝗖𝗠𝗟𝗧 (Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport) to Egypt to be one of the most important fulcrums of maritime transport in the region, in line with the policy of the Egyptian state 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁 𝗮 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿.
