Damietta Container Terminal repairs damaged containers completely, continues to enhance its logistics services
In implementation of the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General / Kamel Al-Wazir - Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport - to improve the infrastructure and develop logistics services at Damietta Container Terminal, DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) has carried out comprehensive repairs to a number of completely damaged containers for many global shipping lines. The move comes as part of the company's recently added container repair and maintenance service to meet the needs of its global shipping line customers. The company's new services also include Open container covers (Open Top) and its requirements, as well as the Pre -test service for reefer containers (PTI).
Admiral Dr. Rafik Galal - Executive Managing Director of DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) stated that the company has launched the container repair service by allocating a workshop equipped with the latest advanced equipment and machinery, which ensures the implementation of repair operations according to the highest quality standards, and these operations include the repair of all types of containers (Dry - Reefer - Tank - Open Top - Flat Rack), including repairing damages that may affect the parts of various containers using materials conforming to standard specifications, and these operations are carried out By highly trained teams, and since the company's announcement of the container repair service and providing these services to its customers and partners in success, the company has provided many repairs to damaged containers in accordance with the approved international standards (IICL), which led to an increase in demand from the global shipping lines dealing with the terminal to cooperate in repairing its damaged containers inside and outside Egypt, due to the high efficiency and professionalism that the company is characterized by in this field.
