Cooperation Protocol Between DCHC and Ocean Express Shipping Group
As part of DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) commitment to supporting Egypt's vision of becoming a global and regional center for logistics and maritime transport services, and enhancing the provision of value-added services in alignment with this vision, and in line with the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, to take all necessary measures to develop operations at national container terminals, and intensify marketing efforts to attract new customers and increase the market share of the Damietta Container Terminal, the company hosted a high-level delegation from Ocean Express Shipping Group on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
The delegation included:

The delegation was welcomed by Admiral Dr. Rafiq Galal – Executive Managing Director of DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.), The visit included the signing of a cooperation protocol that covers a range of logistics and value-added services.
In this context, the Executive Managing Director stated that the protocol is the result of effective communication and marketing efforts made with Ocean Express Shipping Group, reflecting the company's commitment to encouraging private sector participation in achieving the Ministry of Transport's vision and increasing the state's revenue through advanced logistics services. This protocol aligns with the Damietta Container Terminal's commitment to implementing the political leadership's vision and the Ministry of Transport's strategy to make Egypt a global and regional hub for maritime transport, logistics, and transit trade, by expanding integrated logistics services.
