To Enhance Logistics Integration: Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company Renews Strategic Cooperation with TEDA Royal Customs Warehouses and Expands Storage Capabilities at Damietta Container Terminal In line with the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General / Kamel El-Wazir — Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport — to take all necessary measures to develop operations at national container terminals and intensify marketing efforts aimed at attracting new clients and increasing Damietta Container Terminal’s market share, In a move that enhances logistics service efficiency and provides integrated storage solutions, Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company has announced the renewal of its cooperation agreement with TEDA Royal Customs Warehouses. Under this agreement, TEDA Royal will benefit from the services of the shared warehouse operated by Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company, utilizing it for the storage of inbound container cargo, whether full container loads (FCL) or less than container loads (LCL). This collaboration aims to facilitate storage and cargo handling operations and offer integrated logistics solutions to clients. TEDA Royal Customs Warehouses is one of the main clients of the LCL Shared Warehouse operated by Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company. It is a leading company providing storage services within one of the most strategically located logistics hubs, connected to all supply chain elements across Egypt’s major industrial zones. In this context, Mr. Ayman Badawy — CEO of TEDA Royal — stated that renewing the agreement with Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company represents a significant strategic step towards expanding the company’s service scope. He praised the strength of the partnership with the national company and expressed his aspiration for achieving further mutual successes. For his part, Rear Admiral Dr. Rafiq Galal — Executive Managing Director of Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company — affirmed that, in pursuit of offering integrated logistics services, the company provides its valued clients, including importers, exporters, and shipping lines, with LCL container storage through a fully secured warehouse. This facility complies with the highest international standards for occupational safety, health, and civil protection, and is staffed by highly trained personnel with more than 30 years of accumulated experience. It is also equipped with specialized electric forklifts and an integrated customs committee within the warehouse. He emphasized that renewing the cooperation with TEDA Royal reflects the company’s commitment to providing top-tier services and enhancing Damietta Container Terminal’s position as a leading regional logistics hub.
