Admiral Dr. Rafik Abousayed - Executive Managing Director of DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) received a high-level delegation from the Port Training Institute of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport represented by Prof. Dr. Alaa Morsi - Dean of the Port Training Institute, Eng. Hisham Hamdi Head of Simulators Department and Mr. Ehab Hamdy - Director of the Financial Department. Where a cooperation protocol was signed between DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) and the Port Training Institute in the field of training and qualifying the company's employees, within the framework of the company's plan to upgrade the human element, and it was emphasized to continue this cooperation and invest it optimally for the benefit of workers and trainees in DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.). The Executive Managing Director of DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) stated that the Port Training Institute of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, which is one of the specialized organizations of the League of Arab States and one of the Arab consulting expertise houses in training operations on maritime transport and port operation, and that the close cooperation between the Port Training Institute and DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) extends for years of effective and fruitful training in the field of ports and maritime transport, and stressed that the goal of this joint cooperation It aims to train on the operations of container handling equipment in ports through training on simulators and qualifying trainees at the institute and then their practical training on the actual equipment at the Damietta Container Terminal, as part of the DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) in the service of the local community by providing the youth of Damietta Governorate with specialized skills in port operation and maritime transport, and this comes in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Engineer / Kamel Al-Wazir - Minister of Transport and in line with the directives of the political leadership to make Egypt a center Regionally for transit trade, logistics and maritime transport.
